Timolol is a beta-andrenergic antagonist used to treat glaucoma as well as hypertension, angina, migraines, and arrythmias.
Propanolol is a beta-andrenergic antagonist that is non-cardioselective. While it has been used to treat the same things as Timolol, this drug typically has more adverse side effects and is therefore often out-competed by newer drugs.
Xalatan is a prostaglandin F2 analogue used to treat glaucoma. This drug's generic name is latanoprost. Prostaglandin analogues work via an unknown mechanism in which the end product is increased outflow of aqueous humor in the eye.
